Scottish Rugby Union – Player Skills Collectable CD ROM Cards
As part of the programme of activity that also spawned discoverrugby.org, iProduct also developed a complimentary set of six credit card sized CD-ROMs. Each card focused on a different skill and featured a different player from the current Scotland Squad. Each card included video footage of the skill, a unique rugby educational skills game, player pictures and a knowledge test.
In all, a total of 36,000 player cards were produced. Half of these were given to Development Officers to distribute at their coaching sessions while the remaining half were sold via scottishrugby.org and the stadium shop. By promoting the cards as a set, desirability and collectability of the cards was maximised, following in the tradition of Panini football cards.
