Product Magazine Covermount Enhanced CD
Product is a magazine promoting the work of writers and artists in Scotland and provides unique coverage of Scottish culture. It is an independent publication that encourages dialogue on arts and politics in Scotland.
Developed in conjunction with Scottish arts collective Blokshok and Record Label Chemikal Underground, iProduct developed the CD ROM section of the Enhanced CD. Delivered using a deliberately provocative and challenging interface the CD-ROM presented six videos from Chemikal Underground’s artists and various weblinks to associated parties.
Finlay Wilson of Blokshok said: “The interface certainly caused some consternation, but we stuck to our guns and delivered more than just a CD, but a work of art that raised debate on interactivity and interface design.”
